CAPiTA Snowboards feature a unique design. Therefore, we would like to point out that the graphic on the board depends on its size. This means that for different board lengths, there may be different graphic patterns, each specifically designed for the particular model and size. Unfortunately, there is no option to choose the graphic when purchasing – the design is assigned based on the board’s size, and each one has been created to perfectly complement the board’s proportions.
Inspired by the Mercury series, the Mega Merc is its younger but supercharged high-tech version. The Capita Mega Mercury is a board for advanced riders who can handle any conditions.
The board features an ultra-light advanced core from the premium world – 3D THERMOPOLYMER STARSHIP CORE™ reinforced with wide MEGA CARBON™ strips, and interwoven HYBRID HOLYSHEET™ TRI/TRI fiber for increased precision and reduced board weight.
The RESORT V2 camber profile with raised tips and wide camber offers an incredible combination of control and playfulness off-piste. The Mega Merc is boosted by the fastest sintered base from the CAPITA MFG factory – the MEGADRIVE™ XT BASE, additionally supported by the MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ structure. This structure is responsible for water drainage and further speeds up the board. The base is thicker than the previous version for increased durability. All of this results in a cosmic effect of one of the fastest boards on the slope, which holds an edge perfectly and transfers energy effectively.
The light weight of this board surprises everyone who comes into contact with it.

This revolutionary shape for all terrains offers the best of both worlds. It has camber in the middle of the board ending after the inserts for great edge hold at high speeds and in all conditions, and rocker beyond the bindings for lots of playfulness in fresh snow.

CORE: 3D Thermopolymer Starship Core™
Extremely light and versatile core with high impact resistance and maximum pop. A hybrid core! A combination of super light and strong paulownia wood with great energy-returning poplar. Recycled polymer inserts were added to the wooden base. This material combination gives a cosmic effect – excellent energy distribution to the edges and amazing pop.
FIBER: HYBRID HOLYSHEET™ TRI/TRI MEGACARBON™
The newest fiber type from the CAPITA MFG factory. Wide MEGACARBON™ carbon fiber strips are woven directly into the triple fiberglass weave. This reduces weight and allows for more precise fiber placement. The triple fiberglass weave on both sides of the core provides better vibration absorption and better energy transfer to the edge.
RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN
Capita uses eco-friendly resin for all boards, produced with no waste and no greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it provides high performance with reduced heat demand, meaning less energy used in the snowboard production process. Thanks to it, the core can be lighter while maintaining the same board properties. That’s why CAPiTA boards are some of the lightest on the market.
SINTERED BASE: MEGADRIVE™ XT BASE
Specially developed sintered base. It’s a pure race surface made from UHMW polyethylene, modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives that provide light-speed performance in various snow conditions. Designed ONLY for the most depraved speed demons. The base is thicker than the previous version for increased durability.
BASE STRUCTURE: MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™
High-performance base structure with water drainage at a 45-degree angle gives this board an extra kick.
LAMINATE: MEGALITE SKIN™ TOPSHEET
A great-looking multi-level laminate structure. The combination of matte, glossy elements and gold lettering makes an amazing impression. Additionally, Capita ensured the laminate is very light, much lighter than classic lacquered boards. MEGALITE SKIN™ is 60% lighter than classic laminate.

SIDECUT: NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE DEATH GRIP™
This advanced sidecut combines features of a progressive sidecut and Death Grip™ technology. The progressive edge consists of two or more radii, allowing easier turn initiation, greater control, and maximum power when exiting the turn. Death Grip™ adds a reverse arc in the center of the board, increasing the contact point and ensuring better grip and precise pressure application. Combining these two technologies in the NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE edge makes the board exceptionally versatile, offering easy turn initiation, excellent control throughout the turn, and maximum power on exit, while providing an extra contact point and control thanks to Death Grip™ technology.
