CAPiTA Snowboards feature a unique design. Therefore, we would like to point out that the graphic on the board depends on its size. This means that for different board lengths, there may be different graphic patterns, each specifically designed for the particular model and size. Unfortunately, there is no option to choose the graphic when purchasing – the design is assigned based on the board’s size, and each one has been created to perfectly complement the board’s proportions.
Lightweight and versatile, this is the ideal board for an intermediate rider with all-terrain skills. Paradise boards are perfectly balanced for riding in different terrains. They are very stable, yet forgiving and easy to handle. Featuring camber underfoot for increased control and a raised nose and tail for floating in powder. Paradise handles the bumps that mountain life may throw your way with ease.
A very lightweight core made of poplar combined with beech – MULTIZONE CORE™ – provides excellent energy return and adds stiffness. Combined with the sintered SUPERDRIVE™ ADV BASE, it creates an explosive mix of responsiveness and speed. Thanks to the twin-tip construction typical for freestyle boards and the camber profile typical for freeride boards, these boards offer precise control that every rider will love. If you like floating off-piste in powder in the morning and riding the park in the afternoon, this is the board for you.
This season, the board features inserts made of 4 carbon fiber strips laid along the board from the bindings to the tips, which are definitely meant to add pop and increase responsiveness.
RIDER TYPE: RESORT
RIDER LEVEL: Intermediate / Advanced
FLEX: TWIN 5/10
BOARD SHAPE: DIRECTIONAL TWIN
PROFILE: CAMBER
RESORT V3 PROFILE
The RESORT V3 profile provides the best of both worlds. It has a center raised with traditional camber outside the inserts to gain edge hold at high speeds in variable terrain, raised contact points for landings and float in powder, and traditional nose shaping and waist for smoother transitions.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
CORE: MULTIZONE CORE™
A new, even lighter core made of poplar and beech. Flexibility combined with power – all while maintaining low weight!
EXTRAS:
4x 30mm CARBON BOOSTERS
Wide carbon strips placed from the inserts toward the ends of the board are designed to add pop and responsiveness.
FIBERGLASS: SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS
Biax / Biax – an optimal fiberglass mix, lighter than traditional ones.
RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN
Capita uses ecological resin for all boards, which is produced without waste and without greenhouse gas emissions. It also ensures high performance with reduced heat demand, meaning less energy used in the snowboard production process. Thanks to it, the core can be lighter while maintaining the same properties of the board. That's why CAPiTA boards are among the lightest boards on the market!
SINTERED BASE: SUPERDRIVE™ ADV BASE
Thanks to a production technology that uses very high pressure and temperature, it increases surface hardness, resulting in a base that takes the best of both worlds: the speed of a sintered base and the durability of an extruded one. Additionally, it is more transparent, so the graphic is better visible.
LAMINATE: PLT™ – The PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to the board already pressed in the mold. This is unique in the snowboard industry, as the rest of the world applies topsheets using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And since no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on an uneven snowboard, many companies cover their boards with a thick, toxic lacquer to even out the surface. Not only is this HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it’s also very unhealthy for the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces feather-light, smooth, glossy finishes without all that toxic burden, resulting in a beautifully layered laminate structure. The combination of matte, glossy elements and golden lettering makes an amazing impression. Besides the final ink pressing into the board, CAPiTA uses both digital printing and classic screen printing in the production process, which provides multilayered graphics.
EDGES – Steel 360 Degree HRC48 Steel Edges
SIDECUT: RADIAL – an edge shape characterized by being cut from the same arc, allowing the turn to start and end on the same curve. Thanks to the single-radius arc, the board is more predictable, which increases confidence, smoothly guides throughout the whole turn, and is easy to control. Moreover, the classic radial is energy- and performance-efficient. A well-designed turn radius supports the snowboarder's natural movement, allowing for dynamic and smooth maneuvers. The radial design is valued for its smoothness, easy handling, and versatility, which makes it a popular choice among snowboarders with various skill levels and riding preferences.
SIDEWALL – Full ABS1000 sidewalls
INSERTS – Stainless steel 4 x 2 inserts
MADE IN AUSTRIA! – Capita manufactures and works on new technologies in their own factory, which is not a standard in the industry. This gives them access to the best technologies in producing their own boards.
CAPiTA MFG – The Mothership is an example of how modern production should operate: ZERO CO2 emissions, energy drawn from renewable sources, and 98% of the materials used in board production are sourced from nearby regions, so they don’t contribute to pollution from transportation. The factory has its own slope for testing new solutions!
